Saloria Architects is a London-based architecture and masterplanning practice delivering intelligent, sustainable design across the UK and internationally.

Known for our creative and commercially focused approach, we work across a wide range of sectors — including residential, mixed-use, commercial, healthcare, and leisure — providing strategic design solutions from concept through to completion.

Our team combines architectural vision with deep technical expertise to create buildings and masterplans that are not only visually compelling but also deliver long-term value. We are passionate about placemaking and committed to designing spaces that enhance lives, respect the environment, and respond to their local context.
Saloria offers a multidisciplinary service encompassing architecture, masterplanning, urban design and consultancy. Whether we’re regenerating a waterfront district or crafting a landmark building, we collaborate closely with clients, consultants and stakeholders to ensure every project is viable, visionary, and resilient.

Our recent international work includes leading the masterplanning and architectural design of the £1.86 billion Chuncheon New District in South Korea — a major mixed-use lakefront development that integrates organic forms, renewable energy and traditional Korean design references. Closer to home, we support private developers, local authorities and commercial clients in navigating complex planning and delivering design-led outcomes that stand the test of time.

Lalji P. Vekaria is the Founder and Principal of Saloria Architects, which he established in 1987. With over 40 years of experience, he is recognised for his sustainable and people-focused approach to the built environment. Lalji is passionate about the role of design in shaping quality of life and is driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence. His diverse portfolio spans architecture, masterplanning and landscape design — including public parks, regeneration schemes, education, residential and mixed-use developments, and new settlements. Lalji brings international experience from projects in India, South Korea, Morocco and South Africa.
