Culture, Collaboration and Connection Shine at October’s Hidden Gem

The October Hidden Gem brought members and guests together for another sold-out evening. This time in the vibrant surroundings of Camino King’s Cross.

The event introduced a new format that began with an inspiring workshop led by Owen Williams from 6RS, a valued WBC member and this month’s event sponsor. Owen’s session, “Bringing Your Culture Into Your Branding,” struck a chord with attendees, exploring how an organisation’s values and identity can shine through in every aspect of its design, messaging, and digital presence.

Guests shared glowing feedback about the session, describing it as “a brilliant way to start the evening” and “packed with practical ideas we can take straight back to our businesses.”

Following the workshop, an impromptu one-to-one session saw attendees pair up for five-minute chats around the room, a creative twist on the usual networking format that kept the energy high and helped guests connect with even more people. The atmosphere was buzzing as members and visitors alike discovered shared interests and explored potential collaborations.

“I love watching the collaborations come together in the room from the introductions made,” said Clare Gillbanks, Director of Partnerships at Westminster Business Council. “That’s the magic of the Hidden Gem… seeing genuine connections turn into meaningful opportunities. The evening closed with Cava, tapas, and plenty of conversation, thanks to the fantastic team at Camino King’s Cross for their warm hospitality and beautiful venue.

As always, the Hidden Gem continues to grow as one of London’s most engaging business networking experiences, combining professional insight, creative conversation, and the perfect mix of members and guests.
