That’s why we’re delighted to celebrate our member, United Colleges Group (UCG), on their outstanding achievement:
United Colleges Group has been awarded the prestigious Investors in Diversity Gold – Leaders in Diversity accreditation by the National Centre for Diversity, making it the only college in London to hold this status.
With five campuses across the capital — including City of Westminster College, College of North West London, and the Cockpit Theatre — UCG plays a vital role in providing Further Education and training opportunities to thousands of learners of all ages. This award recognises their deep-rooted commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and high-performing environment for students, staff, employers, and the wider community.
After first achieving Investors in Diversity in 2021 and being reaccredited in 2023, this Gold award shows UCG’s unwavering focus on excellence across all six pillars of FREDIE — Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion, and Engagement. Inspectors praised the Group’s extensive curriculum that aligns strongly with London’s skills needs, as well as the support and encouragement staff provide to help every learner succeed.
